ORDERING

How does Caliber Depot work? Do you have a physical store?

Caliber Depot is an online-only firearms retailer operating as a dropship dealer. We do not maintain a physical retail storefront or warehouse. When you place an order, it ships directly from our licensed distributor to you — or to your chosen FFL dealer if you are purchasing a firearm.

Am I eligible to purchase a firearm?

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase long guns (rifles and shotguns) and at least 21 years old to purchase handguns. By placing an order, you confirm you are not a prohibited person under federal law. All sales are subject to a completed ATF Form 4473 and background check at your FFL dealer. No transfer will occur until you pass.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. We also offer Affirm buy-now-pay-later financing, subject to credit approval and Affirm’s own terms. All prices are listed in US dollars.

Do you ship to my state?

We ship to the contiguous 48 states only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or any jurisdiction where shipment is prohibited by law. Some products may be unavailable in certain states due to local regulations. It is your responsibility to verify that any product you order is legal in your state and municipality.

Can I cancel my order after placing it?

We will do our best to cancel at no charge if you request it by 5:00 PM Mountain Time on the same day you placed the order. Once your order has been processed or shipped by our distributor, cancellation can no longer be guaranteed.

FIREARMS AND FFL TRANSFERS

Does my firearm ship to my house?

No. All firearms must be shipped to a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL) of your choosing. They cannot be shipped directly to your home. During checkout you will provide your FFL dealer’s information, and the firearm will ship directly from our distributor to that dealer. Contact your FFL dealer before ordering to confirm they accept transfers and ask about their transfer fee. Those fees are paid directly to your dealer and are not included in our pricing.

How do I find an FFL dealer near me?

Any federally licensed firearms dealer in your state can accept the transfer. Local gun shops, sporting goods stores, and shooting ranges frequently serve as FFL transfer dealers. In the checkout process on Caliberdepot.com you will be prompted to select which FFL dealer you would like to ship to for your firearm order pickup.

What happens after my firearm arrives at the FFL dealer?

Your FFL dealer will contact you when the firearm arrives. You will then visit the dealer to complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a NICS background check. Once approved, the dealer will release the firearm to you. Any applicable state waiting periods also apply at this stage.

Can I return a firearm after picking it up from my FFL dealer?

No. Once a firearm has been transferred to you at your FFL dealer, it is considered used — even if unfired — and all sales are final. Please thoroughly inspect your firearm at the FFL dealer before accepting the transfer. If you notice any defects or damage, do not accept the transfer. What if my FFL dealer refuses the transfer or returns the firearm?

If your FFL dealer refuses or returns the shipment for any reason, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs plus a 20% restocking fee — no exceptions. Always confirm with your dealer that they will accept the transfer before placing your order. Any reshipment to a different dealer will incur additional fees.

AMMUNITION

Does ammunition ship to my home or to an FFL dealer?

Ammunition ships directly to your home address — no FFL dealer required. It cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes and must be signed for upon delivery. Double-check that your state and municipality allow ammunition to be shipped to your address before ordering. Some areas restrict certain types of ammo.

Can I return ammunition if I ordered the wrong caliber?

No. For safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on ammunition under any circumstances. Please carefully verify the caliber, quantity, and compatibility with your firearm before completing your purchase.

Are there restrictions on what ammunition can be shipped to my state?

Yes. Certain states and municipalities restrict specific types of ammunition. It is your responsibility to verify that the ammunition you are ordering can be legally shipped to your address. Orders that are found to be non-compliant will be cancelled and refunded.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. Estimated delivery times from ship date: Handguns: 2 business days (2-day air, federally required). Long guns and accessories: 3-7 business days (ground). Ammunition: 3-7 business days (ground). Processing may take longer during high-demand periods or for backordered items. If you have not received a tracking number within 5 business days of ordering, contact us at [email protected].

Why are handguns shipped by air and not ground?

Federal law requires that handguns be shipped via 2-day air service. Long guns (rifles and shotguns) can travel by ground. This is a legal requirement, not a carrier preference.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Use that to monitor your shipment directly with the carrier. For status questions contact us at [email protected] or 602-633-4056.

My order arrived damaged or appears to be lost. What should I do?

Contact us within 5 business days of the expected delivery date. We will work with our distributor and the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Do not discard any damaged packaging or product — it may be needed for a carrier claim.

RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

I received a defective accessory. What do I do?

Contact us within 30 days of purchase at [email protected] or 602-633-4056 to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. We will arrange the return and provide a replacement or refund at no cost to you. Do not send items back without first receiving your RA number.

Can I return an accessory I simply do not want anymore?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery. Non-defective returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee (minimum $15), and the item must be in new, unused, uninstalled condition in its original manufacturer packaging. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. A Return Authorization number is required — contact us before sending anything back.

How long does it take to receive my refund?

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Any applicable restocking fees and non-refundable shipping costs will be deducted. Affirm financing refunds are subject to Affirm’s own processing terms.

What is your policy on the Caliber Depot Pro Membership?

Membership auto-renewals can be cancelled at any time before your subscription expiration date (12 months from purchase or renewal). Refunds are only available within 30 days of the initial purchase or auto-renewal date, and only if no orders have been placed using the membership discount. Once a discounted order is placed, the membership fee is non-refundable — though you may still cancel future renewals.
