Description
The CMMG Dissent Mk3 chambered in 8.6 Blackout is a large-format AR pistol built around a 12.50 inch barrel and CMMG’s Mk3 platform. This configuration is intended for shooters who want a compact, maneuverable large-format pistol that stays easy to handle in tight spaces such as vehicles, blinds, or close-quarters training environments while still running the 8.6 Blackout cartridge.
The Dissent Mk3 pairs the shorter barrel length with a 20+1 capacity magazine, giving shooters a practical round count for range sessions, home defense practice, or hunting applications where 8.6 Blackout is favored. The AR pistol format keeps the overall package short and light in the hand, which suits shooters looking for a maneuverable option without stepping into short-barreled rifle paperwork.
CMMG designed the Dissent Mk3 platform with modularity and control layout in mind, so users familiar with AR-pattern firearms will find the manual of arms straightforward. This pistol fits shooters who already run AR platforms and want to add an 8.6 Blackout option to their lineup, as well as those building out a large-format pistol for specific range or field use. It is not a specialty target rifle and should be evaluated for the role it is built for: a handy, AR-based pistol chambered in a purpose-built large-format cartridge.
As with all firearms sold through Caliber Depot, this CMMG Dissent Mk3 ships to a licensed dealer of your choosing for the required transfer.
