Description
The HOWA M1500 Carbon Stalker in 7mm PRC is a bolt action rifle built for hunters and shooters who want a flat shooting cartridge paired with a rugged, purpose built platform. The 7mm PRC is suited to open country hunting where longer shots on deer, elk, pronghorn, and other big game are common, and this rifle is set up to handle that role with a 24 inch barrel that supports the cartridge’s intended reach.
This Carbon Stalker model combines a blued finish barreled action with a black Hogue soft grip stock that includes carbon fiber elements, giving the rifle a stable platform without unnecessary bulk. The soft grip surface helps with control when shooting from field positions, in a blind, or off a bench, and the overall build is meant for shooters who want a dependable bolt gun rather than a specialized target rig. Capacity is 3+1, which is standard for this caliber and keeps the action clean and reliable in a hunting rifle.
The rifle ships with no sights installed, which reflects its intended use as a scoped hunting and long range rifle rather than one meant for iron sight work. Shooters should plan to mount an optic suited to the ranges they expect to shoot, whether that is inside typical hunting distances or further out where the 7mm PRC’s ballistic profile is commonly put to use.
This HOWA M1500 Carbon Stalker suits hunters upgrading to a modern magnum length cartridge, shooters who already run other HOWA actions and want a matching rifle in a new caliber, and anyone looking for a straightforward bolt action chambered for long range big game hunting. As a firearm, this rifle ships to a licensed dealer for transfer in accordance with federal law.
