Performance & Reliability

The Retay 12 Gauge 724 Patrol Shotgun delivers exceptional performance through its innovative inertia-plus rotating bolt system, which ensures full lock-up and eliminates frustrating bolt rattle that plagues lesser designs. The dead straight deep bore barrels are precision-drilled to tighter tolerances than industry standards, resulting in measurably superior accuracy downrange. When you pair this with the factory-lengthened forcing cone, the Retay 12 Gauge 724 Patrol Shotgun achieves approximately 20% more pellets on target compared to standard shotgun designs, dramatically improving your effectiveness whether you’re running tactical drills or engaging clay targets.

Reliability is non-negotiable in a defensive shotgun, and the 724 Patrol delivers without compromise. The inertia-plus operating system cycles reliably with everything from light-recoil target loads to full-power buckshot and slugs, never requiring adjustment or tuning. The premium black chrome barrel finish resists corrosion from sweat, moisture, and harsh conditions, ensuring your shotgun remains functional and visually sharp for years of service. This robust construction means the Retay 12 Gauge 724 Patrol Shotgun will function when you need it most.

The easy out magazine unloading feature is a practical innovation that allows you to clear spent shells from the magazine without cycling the action, saving time during training sessions or tactical scenarios. Field stripping for cleaning is straightforward and doesn’t require specialized tools, keeping maintenance simple and efficient. Whether you’re running hundreds of rounds through the shotgun for training or keeping it ready for defensive purposes, the 724 Patrol’s reliability record speaks for itself in demanding real-world applications.
