Description
The Rio Ammunition Star Team EVO 12 Gauge load is built for shooters who want dependable target ammunition for regular use at the range or on the clay course. Loaded with 1-1/8 oz of #7.5 lead shot in a 2-3/4 inch shell, this load is sized for trap, skeet, and sporting clays where a consistent, evenly distributed pattern matters more than raw power.
Lead shot in the #7.5 size is a common choice among clay target shooters because it strikes a practical balance between pellet count and pattern density. A 1-1/8 oz payload delivers a solid number of pellets downrange, giving shooters confidence when breaking targets at typical clay distances. As with any shotshell load, actual pattern performance will vary somewhat based on choke selection and barrel length, so patterning your own gun before a big match or hunting trip is always a good practice.
This Star Team EVO load from Rio Ammunition is packaged 25 rounds per box, making it easy to grab a box or several for a day at the range. It suits recreational shooters working on fundamentals, competitive shooters logging practice rounds, and instructors running students through repetitive drills. Because it is a straightforward 12 gauge lead shot load, it works well in a wide range of shotguns commonly used for clay sports, from pump actions to semi-autos to break actions.
Caliber Depot stocks ammunition like this Rio Star Team EVO load for shooters in Arizona and beyond who want a no-nonsense option for training and competition. Whether you are stacking up boxes for a weekend league or restocking before hunting season practice, this load is built to give you repeatable results shot after shot.
